I was the primary programmer when building Zuno, and now am the primary programmer on Jolitics. Both of them we built from the ground up on Linux, MySQL, Tornado and JQuery.

My primary duties are comprehensive: I design schema and implement data models, make user interfaces and program forms. I also help with platform building, database configuration and performance engineering. And in the precious spare cycles, I sneak in maintenance on Birthday Alarm, interview engineering candidates and recruit for our team.

I made software and systems to scale up the platform and manage three senior engineers. I also helped guide development process and mentor less experienced engineers.
