[SMHS Music Tour] Disneyland Parent Meeting - Related Information

Dear Parents:

If we missed you at the parent meeting tonight, a copy of the detailed trip itinerary is attached.  We would appreciate it if you'd carefully review it.  Mr. T. will be giving students a copy and going over it with them in the next day or two.

Please note that students must be at SMHS by 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, the 27th.  They need to bring their instrument with them and we suggest that they bring lunch/breakfast and/or snacks.  It is a long ride and, although we will stop, lines can be long and time short for food purchases.  A full complementary breakfast is provided Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please encourage your student to take advantage of it.  Lunch and dinner are at student expense - plan to have them spend at least $10/meal at the Park.

Students won't be spending a lot of free time in their rooms and we therefore suggest that expensive electronic items are better left at home.  However, don't forget to have them pack their cell phone chargers (and repack them when it is time to leave!)

The Hotel address is on the itinerary but the number is 714-539-3300.  Wendy Pituley, our Booster President and one of the chaperones, has graciously volunteered to make her cell number available to you for emergencies:  650-759-9148.  All the chaperones, in addition to a few of the other parent attendees, have a list of one another's cell numbers so that information can be shared or communicated quickly.

If you have not filled out an emergency form, please don't forget to do it asap.  Mr. T has the form or you can find it on our website,  bearcatbands.org, and download it.  Your student must have it turned in to Mr. T. before the end of the week.
